Vanja from EVclinic in Croatia asked himself this question and decided to tackled exactly this topic. The result is a battery for the smart ED3 (2012 to 2015) with new cells, in the old housing and with the original BMS. An absolute masterpiece and definitely worth an article. On the one hand, because the cells are lighter, and on the other hand, because the smart actually has more power. I find the 36 kWh option, which Vanja is working on next, just as exciting. And CCS would of course be a cool thing too. Let's see what happens next...
