Zero emissions, great driving fun, cool design - this is how the next smart should be. With the forspeed, the crossblade feeling came up again.
Smart was showing the new design language for the first time, which in 2014 then became part of the 453 series and the smart ED4 was based on. Technically it was probably still based on that smart ED2, but had a new gimmick:
With a button on the center console, further 5 kW motor power could be released for a short time.
Visually, it stands out with its high-gloss white paintwork and the illuminated ED logo in the tridion cell. Furthermore, one had let off steam with the taillights and headlights, for example the indicators are arrow-shaped.
